Paris / Trocadéro
Trocadéro photoshoot
The terrace that faces the Eiffel Tower head-on. The whole tower fits in the frame with a person in front of it.
Trocadéro is the place most people picture when they think of a photo in Paris. You stand above the river, the tower is straight ahead, and nothing sits between you and it.
I shoot here by day and after dark. At night the tower is gold, the sky is black, and I bring a light so your face is lit as well.
The terrace is crowded at sunset. Early morning and late evening are calmer. Below it, the gardens and the fountain give a second background a few steps away.
Metro: Trocadéro, lines 6 and 9.
